About corrugated board
· Kaizen Packaging

Corrugated board sandwiches a fluted medium between liner sheets. The wave geometry multiplies stacking strength while staying light — the foundation of modern shipping packaging.
Structure

Two primary components: liner (flat kraft faces) and medium (the fluted wave bonded to the liner). Single-wall, double-wall, and specialty builds change crush resistance and print quality.
Paper grades & colors

- CA — Brown-grey inner board — not print-focused
- KA — Golden brown — common postal / cold-chain fruit cartons
- KI — Egg-shell brown — natural tone, strong dark print
- KL — Earth-tone premium, eco positioning
- KS — White face — smooth, clean print surface
- KT — Deep natural brown
Flute types

- Flute A — High stacking load; less print-critical
- Flute B — Self-supporting goods (e.g. steel cans)
- Flute C — Most popular mid-weight general goods
- Flute E — Best print surface; small die-cut / offset
- Flute BC — Heavy goods, tall multi-layer stacks
